Our Lorenzo! 🦅
He's everyone's Lorenzo! 🥰 I was talking to someone this past week in Marshfield that has seen Boogie and that my daughter, Paige sang for you. She said that when she heard Steve was leaving, she wondered how Boogie would survive. Then she saw Boogie with Lorenzo and she was amazed at his voice & energy. Steve was definitely such a positive for Boogie, but I and others believe you made the best choice with Lorenzo!!! HE IS AWESOME!

A little more about our trip to Florida today. Some of you may remember every few years we get a travel gig like this, where we get to perform alongside some heavy hitters in the music industry. In the past, we have performed with singers from bands such as Toto, Santana, Journey, Kansas, The Romantics and Kool & the Gang.
Some people have a problem with “cover bands,” because we only play other people’s music. And while that is true, we take pride in the fact that apparently we play “other people’s music” well enough that we get invited to perform alongside the original artists.
Tomorrow we will be reunited with the singer from Kool & the Gang once again, along with one from the band Chicago and one from the band Boston.
Tommy DeCarlo – current lead singer of Boston
Jason Scheff – lead singer and bassist for Chicago 1985-2016
Skip Martin – former lead singer of Kool & the Gang 1988-2007 and the Dazz Band, who won a Grammy for their hit “Let It Whip.”

Jason Scheff- his father was set to go out with the doors and be the first bass player on stage with them then Jim passed and Gerry went on to be the bass player for Elvis in Vegas. Met Jason’s brother playing with Greg Theil in Nashville last year.
I can see why they want you! You are so much more than "just a cover band"- your musical skills are top notch! Really great group of musicians and I love every time I get to see you guys!
